With So You Think a non-runner in the Eclipse, William Hill have made Godolphin’s Farhh the 2/1 market leader, followed by Nathaniel at 7/2.
The reigning champion So You Think is reported to have been found lame on Thursday and did not feature amongst the 10 declared horses for Sandown. Farhh remains as 2/1 fav.
The King George 2011 winner Nathaniel comes next at 7/2 ahead of Cityscape at 9/2 while Bonfire sits 4th in the market at 7/1.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said “Farhh showed a huge amount of promise on his step up in class at Ascot and deserves his place at the forefront of the betting, but there are proven Group One performers in the line-up, while Bonfire is still yet to live up to his one-time billing as Derby second-favourite”
Coral-Eclipse: 2-1 Farhh, 7-2 Nathaniel, 9-2 Cityscape, 7-1 Bonfire, 10-1 Crackerjack King, 12-1 Monterosso, 14-1 Twice Over, 25-1 Cogito, City Style, Sri Putra (E/W 1/5 1,2,3)
