With the weather showing no signs of rapidly improving, the 1st Test at The Oval has been backed into 11/10 (from 5/4) at Coral.
Andrew Strauss’ England are out slightly to 7/4 (from 13/8) to kick off with a win while South Africa can be backed at 3/1 to start with victory.
“Longer range forecasts suggest summer may be on its way, but as far as the Oval Test is concerned, uninterrupted play looks unlikely, prompting punters to side with the draw,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
