Mark Cavendish has been pushed out to 5/1 (from 7/2) by Coral to win the Tour de France green jersey after a crash on Day 4.
Peter Sagan is just 2/7 to win the jersey after the Manx man crashed a few kilometers from the line.
“Although the crash put pay to his chance of a second stage win, it doesn’t rule him out of contention for the green jersey, it just makes it a lot harder now,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton. “The main thing is that he was OK to ride to the finish and keeps alive his dreams of winning the Olympic road race crown.”
There was no change in the outright betting as both Britain’s Bradley Wiggins and the defending champion, Cadel Evans, came home safely. Wiggins is 11/10 to win and Evans a 2/1 chance.
