Live on Skysports 1: Wed 10.00: Thorbjorn Olesen played some good golf at The Open and is 14/1 (Betfred) to win this week’s Austria Open.
A wind troubled 4th round dropped Olesen back to T9 at Lytham last week but he showed some great touches and the Dane is 14/1 market leader with Betfred to win this week’s Austrian Open and looks to be some real quality in a field short on obvious chances.
Kenneth Ferrie defends his 2011 title as Paddy Power’s 100/1 shot but his poor form doesn’t really help his cause though it should be noted his form either side of his win last year was also weak.
Jose Manuel Lara has some claims with some reasonable results this year as bet365’s 50/1 chance and with a win here in 2010 he may be a decent each way shout.
Finally, Fredrik Andersson Hed is Boylesports’ 80/1 chance and he has a few top 30’s to his name this season and may trouble the top of the leaderboard.
