Frankel, the World’s greatest racehorse, will open proceedings at Royal Ascot and is just 1/5 to take the Queen Anne Stakes with William Hill.
A win there would take his unbeaten tally to 11 and he is 1/2 at Hills to complete the season with his unbeaten reputation intact.
In a distance challenge, Frankel is 1/2 to win by a greater distance than Black Caviar in Saturday’s Diamond Jubilee Stakes.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said “Frankel has been backed despite his prohibitive odds, and with Sir Cecil’s superstar expected to be a day-one slam-dunk for the punters he’ll no doubt be a firm feature to kick off many multiples across the land”
Roger Charlton’s Bated Breath and Aussie raider Ortensia share 9-2 favouritism for a cosmopolitan King’s Stand, with the French-trained Wizz Kid, who has been the best-backed in the last week, quoted at 11-2.
