Live on Skysports 1: Thu 10.00: Rory McIlory leads the Irish Open market at 6/1 but Padraig Harrington could go well at 12/1 (Boylesports).
Irish players dominate the market at the Irish Open and unsurprisingly Rory McIlroy heads the betting at 6/1 via bet365 but with a spate of missed cuts recently, his price looks short. Graeme McDowell, in very erratic form, is next in the market at 10/1 with Betfred and his 2nd place in the US Open will still be fresh in the memory.
Ross Fisher has three top tens to his name in his last three events and with a win in this event in 2010, has to be one to watch at 20/1 (Ladbrokes) while 2009 winner Shane Lowry is 70/1 (bet365) and defending champion Simon Dyson looks reasonable at 33/1 with William Hill.
Previous winner Padraig Harrington could be the one to watch however. With a 4th at the US Open followed up last week with a T11 in the Travelers, Harrington is definitely one to watch in front of a home crowd at 12/1, courtesy of Boylesports.
