Paul Ferguson kicks off the week with one selection on Monday; Carlito Brigante in the 20.00 at Kilbeggan. Compare odds and bet.
A fairly quiet Monday from a domestic point of view, but Kilbeggan stages a couple of interesting contests over in Ireland this evening, none more so than the Tyrellspass Novice Chase, in which Carlito Brigante (8:00) is fancied to make it two from two over fences.
Gordon Elliott’s 2011 Coral Cup winner made a pleasing winning chase debut at Killarney last month, where he readily accounted for subsequent winner Catcherinscratcher.
The six-year-old both travelled and jumped well and a similar display should see him hard to beat, despite the fact that he is penalised and has to concede weight all around.
