Coral have moved The Fugue to clear 5/2 fav (from 11/4) at the head of the Investec Oaks market, in front of eased 11/4 Maybe.
“The market confidence in The Fugue has increased significantly in the last couple of days while in complete contrast Maybe has become friendless in the betting,” said Simon Clare, Coral Spokesman.
“It is perhaps surprising that, despite Aidan O’Brien’s UK Guineas double and the strong hands he appears to have in both the Oaks and the Derby, The Fugue rather than Maybe looks likely to start favourite on Friday,” added Clare
Coral have also pushed Kissed out to 8/1 (from 11/2) and Shirocco Star moves in slightly to 14/1.
