Live on Skysports 3: Sat 17.00: Ulster are 10/3 (Ladbrokes) to beat Leinster in the Heineken Cup but +7.5 points looks useful at evens.
Defending champions Leinster Rugby are Sportingbet’s 3/10 strong favourites to win the Heineken Cup Final against Ulster on Saturday and the clear leaders of the Pro12 League are 10/11 with Betfred to win by 9 or more clear points. They would become the first club to win the European Trophy without losing if they can win one more time.
Ulster, winners in ’99, are in their second final and are unfancied at 10/3 (Stan James, Ladbrokes) to win but a fantastic victory at Munster and a semi victory against buoyant Edinburgh sees them head to Twickenham in good form.
The match should be closer than the odds suggest, Leinster just 8/13 (William Hill) to be winning at half time and full time, so Ladbrokes’ even money about Ulster winning with a 7.5 point headstart looks a good way to go. Boylesports make Ulster 15/8 to take a surprise lead into the break.
Rob Kearney, Leinster’s top try scorer in the competition, is 10/1 with Paddy Power to score first.
