Camelot, the unbeaten hero of the 2000 Guineas, is William Hill’s strong 4/6 favourite for the Investec Derby ahead of 9/2 Bonfire.
Bonfire, the winner of the Dante, sits ahead of Main Sequence (11/1) who picked up the Lingfield Trial for David Lanigan while Astrology is now into 12/1 along with Imperial Monarch after being backed in from the bigger prices.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said “Naturally Camelot continues to be all the rage for Epsom and looks set to jump away the shortest-priced Derby favourite seen in some time, although it’s not unknown to see a big run from an O’Brien second-string and there’s been plenty of interest in Astrology this week”
