Following a winning return at Maisons-Laffitte, French Fifteen has been cut to 14/1, from 20’s, by Betfred for the QIPCO 2000 Guineas.
The win was recorded on Thursday in the Group 3 Prix Djebel and French Fifteen’s trainer Nicolas Clement has confirmed the 2000 Guineas as the number 1 target.
“French Fifteen showed that he’d come on a bundle over the winter and the Prix Djebel is a fairly useful guide as it was used as a stepping stone for subsequent 2000 Guineas winner Makfi a couple of years ago,” said Betfred spokesman George Primarolo.
In the 1000 Guienas, Prix Impudence is right into 14/1 (from 33/1) with Betfred after a close win in the Prix Impudence; Maybe is 3/1 fav, followed by 6/1 Discourse.
Akeed Mofeed is one of five horses who have been added to the 2012 Investec Derby field at the second entry stage and he is the 14/1 second favourite with Betfred behind 5/2 jolly Camelot.
