A dramatic day of Premier League action has seen the title race thrown wide open and Man City are now in to 6/4 with Stan James for top spot.
With just ten minutes to go at Old Trafford, leaders Manchester United looked set to open up an eight-point lead at the table’s summit, leading as they did, 4-2 against Everton. However, the Toffees had other ideas, battling back to earn a point in a 4-4 thriller and give City renewed hope ahead of their clash at Wolves.
Roberto Mancini’s charges subsequently collected a maximum haul with a routine 2-0 triumph at Molineux to cut the gap at the top to just three points and set up what could be a decider at the Etihad Stadium next Monday.
United have now drifted to 1/2 with Stan James to retain their crown and the same firm make them 21/10 to emerge victorious in that mouth watering showdown, which is 11/8 to go the way of the hosts.
Stan James spokesman Rory Jiwani said, “City host United next Monday and victory would see Roberto Mancini’s men go top on goal difference with just two games remaining. The season’s set for a thrilling climax and we make City 6/4 to seize the title with United 1/2 to retain their crown.”
