Live on Skysports 3: Thu 20.00: KJ Choi (28/1, Stan James) and Johnson Wagner, 28/1 with BetVictor, are two to follow at the Texas Open.
KJ Choi has lost the form he had at the turn of the year and he did not shine at the Masters but with two weeks off, he should be looking to return with a bang. Stan James make the Korean 28/1.
Johnson Wagner is the more interesting proposition at 28/1, this time with BetVictor. Wagner went into the Masters in great form and was touted as an outside chance but he found Augusta tough. He can get back to his decent showings on the Tour and should be considered each way and also for the top 10, 11/4 with bet365.
Matt Kuchar is this week’s fav, 12/1 with Ladbrokes, but he did not fair so well at the Heritage last week and perhaps is too short this week.
Brendan Steele defends at 80/1 (Totesport) but perhaps the more interesting bet is Kevin Na at 22/1 with Boylesports. He has already landed three top 5’s and came 8th last week and should figure in plans.
