Live on Skysports 1: Mon 17.20: West Ham are 23/20 (William Hill) to beat Birmingham in the Championship but it could finish all square.
William Hill make West Ham 23/20 favourites to get the better of fellow promotion hopefuls Birmingham at Upton Park but Sam Allardyce’s men haven’t really convinced on their own patch in recent weeks, drawing five and losing one of their last six there, and with the Hammers coming under increasing pressure, they don’t appeal at such a short price.
The Blues, Boylesports’ 13/5 outsiders, are a tough side to beat and have managed back-to-back successes on the road but Chris Hughton’s charges will find it tougher in East London than they did at Burnley and Doncaster, so it’s seems logical, with neither team standing out in terms of registering an important win, to consider BetVictor’s 23/10 for the spoils to be shared.
That was the outcome on Boxing Day when the duo locked horns at St Andrews and a repeat of the 1-1 scoreline from that one is an enticing 11/2 at Stan James while Coral quote 9/2 for both halves to finish all square.
Elsewhere, Blackpool’s last home game saw them impressively sweep aside leaders Southampton 3-0 and at 8/13 (Boylesports) they’re a banker to pick up another three points at Bloomfield Road, where Barnsley are the visitors.
Coventry meanwhile, are perhaps a touch overpriced at 12/5 with BetVictor as they head to Bristol City for a real six-pointer.
