Sat 15.00: Dagenham and Redbridge, at 6/4 (Stan James) can make light of their League Two relegation fears by beating Accrington.
Dagenham and Redbridge relinquished the lead twice at Barnet on Tuesday and they’re currently propping up the rest in League Two as a result. However, John Still’s men can give their survival hopes a much-needed shot in the arm this weekend as they welcome Accrington Stanley to Victoria Road.
The Daggers have won a respectable seven of their home matches this term while Stanley, BetVictor’s 19/10 outsiders, have landed a maximum on their travels on just three occasions and even though the bulk of their away games have finished all square, the visitors’ run of just one win in nine outings suggests the hosts, at 6/4 with Stan James, should enjoy the upper hand.
Another of the division’s relegation-threatened teams that could pick up a maximum haul are Northampton. A run of six victories in nine, four of those coming in the last five, has dragged the Cobblers away from danger but Aidy Boothroyd’s side aren’t out of the woods yet and they’ll be desperate to pick up three points as they entertain fellow strugglers Plymouth.
The Pilgrims’ recent form is pretty hit-and-miss and their away record is pretty dismal so it’s hard to see them picking anything up at the Sixfields Stadium, where William Hill quote Northampton at 23/20 to snare a maximum haul.
