Despite positive reports about Long Run from connections, Coral have eased the odds on him from 6/4 to 7/4 to win the Gold Cup.
Kauto Star is now 7/2 2nd fav, in from 4/1, ahead of 6/1 Grand Crus and 7/1 Burton Port.
“We eased Long Run to 7-4 because of the support for his rivals, namely Weird Al, Midnight Chase and Kauto Star, with the latter subject to his own more positive update today,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
“Connections have made it clear that all is well with Long Run, but that hasn’t prevented support drying up for last year’s winner at present,” added Stevens.
