Two men from Kent are celebrating after winning almost £100,000 with Coral from a £4 eight-team accumulator, with a late winner.
Darren Norris, 46, and 53-y-o Paul Beevers placed an eight match accumulator on the weekend’s football.
The 8th and final match required a Nurnberg victory over Borussia Monchengladbach and the German side obliged in the 87th minute to wrap up the 8-fold, landing the duo £48,726.56. Coral then applied a 100% bonus – all winning eight matches or more accumulators on the new Outsiders coupon – so the pair landed £97,453.12.
Darren Norris explained: “The staff in the Coral shop pointed out the new coupon, the Outsider, which appealed to Paul because he always backs outsiders anyway, and to myself because I like betting on the coupons that have bonuses on. We agreed to chuck £2 in each for a £4 stake and Paul picked the eight teams, as an eightfold qualified for the full 100% bonus.”

the car outside the shop and did an Only Fools And Horses celebration with the car rocking from side to side!”
