Coral were left happy after Day 1 at Cheltenham following their decision to take on Hurricane Fly in the Champion Hurdle.
The odds on fav could only finish 3rd in the big race.
Odds-on shots Sprinter Sacre and Quevega plus the well-backed Alfie Sherrin were good for the punters though so honours were declared even at the end of day one of the Cheltenham Festival.
“We feared the worst when Sprinter Sacre cruised home, but Rock On Ruby’s win was a huge relief, and knocked out plenty of accumulators,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
“Alfie Sherrin was well-backed and Quevega rewarded favourite backers so it’s all to play for after day one,” added Stevens.
