Live on SS1 & 3: Thu 11.00 & 19.00: Angus Loughran previews this week’s Andalucia Open and the Transition Champs. Selections.
Matteo Manassero missed out on a trip to Doral last week but looks to have a great chance in the Andalucian Open this week and 25/1 looks a great price with Ladbrokes while Chris Wood looks over the odds at 45/1 (Sportingbet) in a field without much depth.
Paul Lawrie is missing through illness and faces a sweat to get in the Masters where the top 50 in the world get in next week – he is currently 45th. Robert Rock heads the market at 22/1 with BetVictor showing the open nature of the event.
Zach Johnson caught my eye in Doral last week and he looks a huge price at 50/1 with Bet365 in this week’s Transitions Championship where English duo Luke Donald heads the market at 11/1 (Coral) from last week’s winner Justin Rose at 16/1 (Boylesports).
Ernie Els looks to have a better chance than Totesport’s 70/1 odds suggest while Boo Weekley showed a welcome return to form when 3rd in last weeks Puerto Rico Open and is a juicy 125/1 courtesy of William Hill this week for big price backers .
Good luck
Angus Loughran
