Live on ITV1: Tues 19.45: Managerless Chelsea are 3/4 (Paddy Power) to win their FA Cup replay at Birmingham but it could be close.
Chelsea’s defeat at West Brom was the result that finally saw Andre Villas-Boas relieved of his duties at Stamford Bridge and subsequently it’s Roberto Di Matteo that will oversee team affairs as the Blues head to Birmingham for a tricky-looking FA Cup replay.
Nevertheless, Chelsea are Paddy Power’s 3/4 favourites to emerge triumphant at St Andrews and book their place in the last eight of the competition. Birmingham are Betfred’s 4/1 outsiders, despite deservedly drawing the first meeting away from home while the tussle is 5/2 with BetVictor to require extra-time.
Ultimately however, the change in management could reap rewards in the short term and the Premiership outfit can edge it. In a fixture Boylesports price at 10/11 to produce fewer than three goals in normal time, Ladbrokes rate Chelsea at 13/2 to fire the only one and in what looks set to be a tight affair, Skybet chalk 7/2 against an away success following an even first half.
