Live on ESPN & ITV4: Tues 19.30 & 20.00: QPR are 5/6 (William Hill) to see off MK Dons in the FA Cup and Leicester play Nottm Forest.
Mark Hughes lost his first game in charge of QPR, his side edged out 1-0 at Newcastle on Sunday but the Welshman will expect to get a win under his belt at Loftus Road as Rangers entertain MK Dons in an FA Cup third round replay.
Keen to secure his first positive result, Hughes is likely to field a relatively strong line-up and the Premiership outfit are 5/6 with William Hill to book their place in round four after 90 minutes. Their League One opponents can nevertheless make life difficult for the hosts, who are 11/4 via Ladbrokes to shade it by a one-goal margin.
Leicester and Notts Forest couldn’t find a goal between them when they met at the City Ground and another low-scoring affair is on the cards in the replay. Bet365 offer 7/10 for the clash to produce fewer than three goals, it’s 9/1 (Blue Square) for the pair to play out another 0-0 draw and less precisely, Skybet post 13/5 against another stalemate.
The best chance of an upset comes at the Racecourse Ground, where Blue Square Premier table toppers Wrexham are a 2/1 shot with BetVictor to see off Championship side Brighton. The in-form Dragons have only lost three league matches, all of them in September and their only reverse came in the FA Trophy, a competition that was far from a priority for Andy Morrell’s troops.
By contrast, the Seagulls have been pretty inconsistent and have struggled on the road, where goals have proven hard to come by so they look pretty vulnerable ahead of this one.
In the evening’s two other matches, Bolton are a safe bet at 3/10 (William Hill) to get past Macclesfield at the second attempt while Millwall are 4/9 with Boylesports to overcome Dagenham and Redbridge at the New Den.
Recommended Bets:
Wrexham to beat Brighton – 2/1 (BetVictor)
QPR to beat MK Dons by one – 11/4 (Ladbrokes)
