Coral have installed Captain Chris as their 11/4 fav for Saturday’s Argento Chase following the news Grand Crus will not line up.
Diamond Harry is next in the betting at 10/3 ahead of Time For Rupert at 7/2.
Grand Crus is 9/4 favourite with Coral for the RSA Chase, and a top priced 9/1 third favouri for the Gold Cup.
“Although his Festival target will not be decided until nearer the time, we are happy to lay Grand Crus for the Gold Cup as the decision to bypass the Argento Chase, a recognised Gold Cup trial, suggests the novice contest is the more likely option,” reckoned Coral’s David Stevens.
