The big race in Ireland over the weekend is the Grade 1 John Durkan Memorial at Punchestown; Joncol is my fancy for the Lexus Chase at Leopardstown over Xmas but over this 2m 4f trip he may have to give best to Tranquil Sea (2.05) who is at his going right-handed when the mud is flying. He may have too much toe for Joncol at the trip.
