Grand Crus is 7/1 favourite with Coral for the RSA Chase at Cheltenham on Friday and faces a tough test on his chasing debut.
Rivals include Cue Card and Champion Court, 14-1 and 20-1 respectively for the RSA.
“Grand Crus is likely to be sent of favourite for his chasing debut, but the World Hurdle runner-up faces a quality field, and the result of the race should tell us much about the staying novice chase division this season,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
“The only disappointment is that the race won’t be seen by terrestrial TV viewers, as a field of this quality would attract greater betting interest than the opening amateur riders’ chase or the cross-country race, for example,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
