Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Tuesday; go each-way on Lady Bluesky in the 5.00 at Newcastle Compare odds.
Another fairly quiet day, but back on her favoured soft ground Lady Bluesky (5:00) is worth a small each-way interest in the 2m Oddschecker.Mobi Handicap at Newcastle.
The useful dual-purpose mare finished last of five at Musselbrugh last month, but she ran well for a long way and shaped much better than the bare form would suggest.
On ground much too quick, it can pay not to look too much in to that and she did finish third in the same contest last season before winning a couple of staying handicaps on testing ground, the second of which came off today’s mark.
Twice a winner over hurdles since then, the eight-year-old opened up at 16/1 with Bet365 and 14/1 with Boylesports on Monday evening and that looked too big.
Tuesday’s selection:
5:00 Newcastle Lady Bluesky
