Dare To Dance is the current 6/1 favourite with Betfred at the head of the Cambridgeshire market after 92 horses were left in.
Since winning at Newmarket last month, Jeremy Noseda’s colt has been well supported in the nine furlong Cambridgeshire but currently lies 45th in the handicap and needs thirteen to come out if he is to make the cut.
Ante-post punters will get their money back if the horse is balloted out though.
Betfred spokesman George Primarolo said “Although Dare To Dance has the option of running in Friday’s consolation race should he not make the cut for the Cambridgeshire, some ante-post punters will be praying he gets a run having snapped up the bigger prices before his Newmarket win.”
In Saturday’s Kingdom Of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket, Betfred make Sahpresa the 11/4 favourite at the head of a declared field of 14 as she looks to record a hat-trick having won the race for the previous two years.
