It’s 4/1 with Ladbrokes that Messi or Ronaldo can score a hattrick against any English team in this season’s Champions League
In a league goals match bet, Messi is the marginal 10/11 fav ahead of Ronaldo (evens) as both added to their tallies at the weekend.
Ladbrokes also quote Messi as a 33/1 chance to net three times in the Champions League final and lift the trophy while Ronaldo is 50/1 to do exactly the same.
“Both superstar’s goals were great news for punters and we laid the hatrick double for a few quid as well. We fancy Messi just to shade Ronaldo in terms of league goals this season and there’s a real chance they replicate that form in Europe,” Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said.
