Live on Skysports 2: Sat 12.15: League Two leaders Rotherham are 2/1 with William Hill to win again and we also like the look of Bradford.
The cameras head to the County Ground in League Two tomorrow where Paulo Di Canio’s Swindon are looking to end a run of four straight defeats as they host early pacesetters Rotherham. The Robins are slight favourites at 11/8 (Ladbrokes) but the Millers, who brushed off the loss of star striker Adam Le Fondre to Reading by beating Gillingham 3-0 last week, look overpriced at 2/1 courtesy of William Hill.
Alex Revell has been brought in by boss Andy Scott to plug the gap left by Le Fondre’s departure and Skybet make the former Leyton Orient man a 12/5 chance to make an immediate impact by getting on the scoresheet at some stage and it’s 7/2 with Paddy Power for United to nick it by a one-goal margin in Wiltshire.
Perhaps the surprise package of the League Two season so far, Morecambe have made a flying start to the campaign, winning four of their opening five fixtures but the Shrimps could be worth opposing this weekend as they entertain Bradford.
The Bantams parted company with Peter Jackson last week and showed no ill effects as they beat Barnet 4-2 a couple of days later. Phil Parkinson then took hold of the managerial reigns at Valley Parade, watching his side oust Sheffield Wednesday from the Johnstone’s Paints Trophy on penalties and there already seems to be a renewed air of confidence in the City camp. Couple this with the fact that Morecambe’s only league defeat this term came on their own patch and Bradford start to look like an attractive proposition at 10/3 with bet365.
