Manchester United are 5-4 favourites with Coral for the Premier League, after the reigning champions began their defence of the title with victory at West Brom this afternoon. Chelsea are 3-1 second favourites, following their draw at Stoke, with Manchester City next at 7-2, ahead of their opening game of the new season against Swansea tomorrow night. Arsenal and Liverpool, who like Chelsea could only gain one point from their first match, are 12-1 and 14-1 respectively.
“It may have taken a late goal, and new goalkeeper David De Gea has yet to fully settle in, but it’s normal service resumed as far as we’re concerned, and although it’s obviously very early days, we have seen nothing to suggest we were wrong to take on Manchester United’s title rivals in the build up to the new season,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
