Gillingham are 8/11 with Stan James to beat Plymouth in League Two and they fit neatly into a treble with Rotherham and AFC Wimbledon.
Gillingham have made a solid start to the season in League Two, taking seven points from a possible nine and as a result they’ve already been well backed to collect another maximum haul as they entertain Plymouth.
The troubled Pilgrims by contrast, have suffered back-to-back losses on home soil in the last week and it’s hard to see them stopping the rot on the road, especially at the Priestfield Stadium, where the Gills are a tempting 8/11 via Stan James.
On the back of two straight 2-0, away victories AFC Wimbledon are another team that jumps from the coupon ahead of their home clash with hapless Hereford. The Bulls have lost all three games, conceding eight times in the process and it already looks set to be a long, hard season for them. The Dons are a cracking bet at 4/5 (Totesport) then, to heap more misery on their rock-bottom visitors.
On a weekend when home victories could be plentiful in the fourth tier, Northampton and Rotherham are also of interest. The Cobblers have made an unspectacular start but at 17/20 with they should have the measure of Cheltenham while the table-topping Millers are making hay while Adam Le Fondre is still at the club and they’re slightly more appealing than Northampton, Betfred rating them at 4/5 for a fourth straight win as they host Barnet. Le Fondre is 4/1 with Boylesports to break the deadlock in that one.
Recommended Bets:
Adam Le Fondre to score first – 4/1 (Boylesports)
Treble on Gillingham, AFC Wimbledon and Rotherham – 9/2 (Totesport)
