Ally McCoist is now 2/1 to leave Rangers before the end of the year according to Ladbrokes after Rangers crashed out of Europe.
Rangers’ failure to qualify from the tie was good news for the bookies in the short term after laying the Glasgow side to qualify at 6/4 and to win in 90 minutes (11/8) in the run up to the match.
McCoist’s side are also now the 6/5 second favourites in the SPL outright betting behind Celtic at 4/6.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Punters were in a confident mood ahead of the match. It’s not been an ideal start for McCoist and the price won’t hold if results continue like this.”
