Paul Ferguson brings us one selection on Tuesday; Grandeur in the 2.30 at Brighton. Compare odds and bet.
Again, the domestic action isn’t the best today, but with York’s Ebor meeting kicking off tomorrow it’s fairly understandable and the sole selection comes in the opener at Brighton, in the shape of Grandeur (2:30).
Bronze Angel is officially rated 83 and, therefore, sets a very fair standard, but Jeremy Noseda’s colt ran a race full of promise on debut and looked a sure-fire future winner.
The grey met trouble in running before finishing strongly behind the well-regarded Nawaar at Goodwood and the only strange thing is that he drops back to 6f here.
That said, given the normal improvement from debut to race two, he ought to overcome that and can get off the mark at the second time of asking under William Buick.
Tuesday’s selection:
2:30 Brighton Grandeur
