Rotherham are overpriced at 19/10 with William Hill to win their League Two clash at Crewe and Adam Le Fondre can play a part.
A 4-1 success at Plymouth made it two-from-two for Rotherham and as they prepare to tackle a Crewe side still pointless after their opening couple of fixtures.
The Alex were beaten 2-1 at home by Gillingham on Saturday, following on from a 3-0 opening day reverse against Swindon and also bearing in mind the 3-2 Carling Cup loss at Preston, the rate at which they are conceding goals will concern boss Dario Gradi.
By contrast, the hosts’ leaky defence will provide plenty of encouragement for a strong Millers attack, still boasting in-demand striker Adam Le Fondre for the time being, and it’s hard to understand why the visitors are as high as 19/10 at William Hill to return from Gresty Road with three points.
Le Fondre continued to add to his value with a well-taken brace at the weekend so he clearly isn’t being adversely affected by the transfer speculation, linking him with moves away from Rotherham and at 13/8 with Boylesports, the Millers man looks a decent bet to notch at any time. Le Fondre can also be backed at 5/1, with Skybet, to break the deadlock.
Elsewhere, Port Vale aren’t without appeal at 15/8 () as they travel to Burton Albion and Macclesfield are a touch high at 12/5 with bet365 ahead of their trip to rock bottom Hereford.
Recommended Bets:
