Hearts and Birmingham are the sides who may fail to qualify for the Europa league, they are 5/1 and 7/4 according to Ladbrokes.
Hearts are 5/1 outsiders to qualify from the all British tie against Tottenham (1/9 to go through) and then it’s only Birmingham (7/4) who may struggle against Nacional (2/5).
Rangers (4/9) & Celtic (4/7) should make it through against Maribor (13/8) & Sion (5/4) respectively but it’s Celtic who are favoured in the outright market at 50/1. (Rangers 100/1 to win).
Paris St Germain & Roma are the 10/1 joint favourites with Tottenham the shortest priced British club at 16/1.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “It looks like plain sailing for the majority of British sides except Birmingham. Rangers were turned over at a short price last time so we expect many to approach their tie with caution.”
he added: “Ideally domestic sides will progress as far as possible. At this early stage Tottenham are a bad result and a few have nibbled at Stoke.”
