Live on ITV 4: Thu 20.00: Tottenham are 3/10 with Stan James to beat Hearts in the Europa League and Peter Crouch can impress.
Unfortunately for Hearts, they were less than competitive as they came face-to-face with Tottenham in the Europa League, losing 5-0 in the first leg at Tynecastle and although the SPL outfit can fare a little better in the away leg at White Hart Lane, they are still 3/10 with Stan James to suffer another defeat.
A Jambos triumph is 11/1 via but even though Spurs will undoubtedly field a weaker team, with one eye on Sunday’s crucial clash against Manchester City, the hosts’ strength in depth suggests that they will rack up another relatively comfortable success against a team that looked out of their depth a week ago.
Another 5-0 win is just 22/1 at Boylesports but with Harry Redknapp set to ring the changes, a victory of that magnitude is unlikely. A 3-0 triumph for the home side is a 7/1 shot at Sportingbet but a safer bet is William Hill’s 11/10 for Tottenham to prevail ‘to nil’.
Peter Crouch is likely to be given a chance to force his way up the White Hart Lane pecking order and he’s 5/1 at bet365 to break the deadlock but at 6/1 (Betfred), the towering striker is a better bet to grab at least a brace at any stage.
Recommended Bets:
Peter Crouch to score two or more goals – 6/1 (Betfred)
Tottenham to win ‘to nil’ – 11/10 (William Hill)
