Jenson Button is in to 10/1 in Sportingbet’s F1 Drivers Championship ‘without Vettel’ market, after his victory in the Hungarian GP.
McLaren’s Jenson Button emerged triumphant in the Hungarian Grand Prix and Sportingbet reacted by cutting him to 10/1 in the Drivers Championship betting without runaway leader Sebastian Vettel.
Button remains in fifth place in the standings, but is now just 15 points adrift of second placed Mark Webber, who is 4/1 with bet365 to be the best of the rest. After coming fourth at the Hungaroring meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton is a 2/1 shot (Betfred) in the same market, which is led by Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso at 15/8 with Ladbrokes.
Despite only finishing second in Hungary, Sebastian Vettel increased his lead in the outright standings to a whopping 85 points and he’s now just 1/12 at Betfred to retain his title. Stan James post 14/1 against Alonso overhauling the German’s enormous advantage and in the Constructors Championship Red Bull are now no bigger than 1/50 courtesy of Paddy Power.
