Tiger Woods is 6/1 to withdraw from the WGC Bridgestone Invitational according to Ladbrokes and 20/1 to win the competition.
He’s 20/1 to win the tournament and 100/1 to sink a hole in one. All eyes will be on his first tee shot and he’s expected to make the fairway at 1/2 (6/4 he doesn’t).
Rory McIlroy is the 12/1 favourite to win what appears to be a competitive tournament as it’s co-favourite of five next at 16/1 (Mickelson, Stricker, Westwood, Donald and Johnson).
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Woods fans are still at large according to the early money we’ve seen. No-one seems bothered that he’s a far shorter price to withdraw from the tournament than win.”
he added: “As ever McIlroy has been backed along with Garcia & Kuchar at bigger prices. We’d be happy to see Westwood win.”
