After a promising debut at Doncaster recently Word Power (8:10) is taken to land the Ronnie Scott’s Maiden Stakes at Windsor on Monday evening.
Sir Henry Cecil’s Oasis Dream filly hails from the family of Reams Of Verse and Manifest and she bumped in to a smart one in the shape of Stella Point last month.
That second sets a fair standard and, given room for improvement, she can get off the mark at the second time of asking under Tom Queally.
