It’s back to Killarney for Tuesday’s selection and Tornedo Shay (7:20) who is taken to follow up last month’s Leopardstown success in the 1m6f contest.
The six-year-old won three bumpers back in 2009 and he made a winning debut over hurdles at Gowran last November before he went on to land a well-contested event at the Punchestown Festival in May.
The son of Dr Fong had one start on the level last September when disappointing at Sligo, but he left that form a long way behind when impressively winning a similar contest to tonight’s race last month and he should be hard to beat.
