Live on Skysports 2: Fri 13.00: After a storming 13-1 victory, Simon Whitlock could be too short against Andy Hamtilon at the World Matchplay.
All matches live on Skysports 1 & 2:
Whitlock destroyed Ovens in a great display of darts, hitting 50% of doubles, but at just 1/4 (Betfred) could be a touch short to beat Andy Hamilton. Hamilton, 4/1 with Skybet, may or may not win but at even money with a 4.5 leg headstart (Ladbrokes), he is very much worth backing.
The afternoon’s other quarter sees 2nd seed Adrian Lewis as the 2/5 fav (William Hill) against Mark Webster. World Champion Lewis looked in great shape as he brushed aside van der Voort and is well worth backing at 10/11 (Boylesports) with a -3.5 leg handicap.
