Live on ESPN: Sat 13.45: Argentina are just 1/9 with Stan James to beat Bolivia in the Copa America but a heavy home win is a better bet.
Any result other than a victory for Argentina in their Copa America opener is considered pretty unlikely at 13/2 with Paddy Power, as the hosts tackle Bolivia. Set to field something approaching a full-strength line-up, Sergio Batista’s side are just 1/9 at best with Stan James to get the better of the Bolivians, who tend to be much weaker on the road, when not benefiting from the altitude at which their home fixtures take place.
Obviously at 1/9, even though they’re a certainty, the Argentines aren’t exactly a money-spinner so it’s worth visiting the handicaps and speculating on the extent of their probable triumph.
The home side are 3/10 (888Sport) to win by a minimum of two goals but at 5/6 courtesy of Coral, they can prevail by at least three clear goals while Skybet chalk Argentina up at 8/13 to triumph ‘to nil’ and it’s 4/6 with Betfred for Lionel Messi to make an impact by getting on the scoresheet.
Recommended Bets:
Argentina (-2) to beat Bolivia – 5/6 (Coral)
