Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Tuesday; Peadar Miguel in the 18.40 and Douchkirk in the 21.10. Compare odds.
Jack Quinlan has two rides booked at Stratford on Tuesday evening and the 7lb claimer could be in for a big night.
His first ride comes in the opening maiden hurdle for his Dad, Noel, and conditions look ideal for Peadar Miguel (6:40) to strike at the third time of asking over hurdles.
Useful on the level, he meets another couple of interesting Flat recruits here, but he showed at Market Rasen last time he can win races over hurdles and, with quick ground and a tight track likely to bring out the best in him, this looks a suitable opportunity.
Quinlan could complete the double by book-ending the card aboard Douchkirk (9:10) in the concluding bumper.
The four-year-old quickened up impressively when winning over course-and-distance on debut and, though he faces several likely types here, John Berry’s charge sets a fair standard.
Flat trainer Berry is five from 10 in bumpers over the past five seasons and two from three at the track (67%).
Tuesday’s selections:
6:40 Stratford Peadar Miguel
9:10 Stratford Douchkirk
