Ryan Moore is 4-6 (from 5-4) fav with Coral for the Flat jockeys’ c’ship – the first time he has headed the market since the opening fortnight of the season – after the former title holder took the riding honours at Royal Ascot. Reigning champion Paul Hanagan is 11-8 (from 8-13) to retain his crown.
“Ryan Moore duly justified his position as odds-on favourite to be top jockey at the Royal meeting, and we reckon that could give him the impetus to kick on and regain the title he lost to Paul Hanagan last year, although the latter is certain to put up a strong defence of his crown,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
