Russia look good value at 11/10 with Stan James to get the better of Cameroon as the pair face-off in a friendly in Austria.
Russia stayed in the hunt to reach Euro 2012, with a 3-1 triumph over Armenia and they look set to add to that victory by beating Cameroon as the pair face off in Salzburg. The Indomitable Lions have toiled somewhat in qualification for the African Cup of Nations, in contrast to the Russians, who have won four of their five European Championship qualifiers so it’s easy to see why Dick Advocaat’s men are Stan James’ 11/10 favourites.
Norway have to be considered a banker at 4/9 with Betfred as they take on a Lithuania team beaten 2-0 by Liechtenstein on Friday and if the Lithuanian’s drew a blank in that one it’s hard to see them getting on the scoresheet against the resilient Norwegians, so Egil Olsen’s men should be backed at 7/5 courtesy of Coral to win ‘to nil.’
Elsewhere, Austria ran Germany close at the weekend and are 8/11 (William Hill) to beat Latvia while Spain, fresh from a 4-0 victory over USA, are priced by Skybet at 2/5 to win what looks an altogether more straightforward fixture against Venezuela.
Recommended Bets:
