Live on BBC 1: Sat & Sun 17.00: At 10/11 with Paddy Power, Mark Webber can bag a podium finish in the Canadian GP.
Sebastian Vettel continued his dominance of this year’s Formula One Drivers Championship by clinching his fifth victory in six races at Monaco and the German is now just 1.15 (3/20) at best with Betdaq to defend his title.
A massive 58 points adrift of the Red Bull man is Lewis Hamilton and the McLaren driver follows Vettel in the outright betting at 11/1 (Sportingbet) and with Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso a 16/1 chance at Partybets, it’s clear that bookies are absolutely convinced that it’s all over bar the shouting.
Not surprisingly, the 2010 champion is also fancied to rack up yet another win as the competition moves to Canada this weekend, Totesport chalking him up at 5/4 to emerge triumphant in Montreal but punters expecting Vettel’s run to come to an end can back Hamilton at 14/5 with or Mark Webber at 8/1 courtesy of Sportingbet.
The latter has only managed to finish on the podium twice in half a dozen races but if the Australian’s luck improves, he should better that record on Sunday to get into the top three (10/11, Paddy Power). Subsequently, another victory for the Red Bull looks likely, hence a top price of 8/11 with William Hill.
Recommended Bets:
Mark Webber to secure a podium finish – 10/11 (Paddy Power)
