After the six day entry declaration, Stan James make Goldikova 13/8 to hold off Canford Cliffs (6/5 Skybet) to win the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot on Tuesday.
Last year’s winner scored in the Prix D’Ispahan on her reappearance and will bid for a historic 14th Group One success for Freddie Head.
Canford Cliffs won the JLT Lockinge Stakes on his reappearance in May and will attempt follow up his victory 12 months ago when he beat stablemate Dick Turpin in the St James’s Palace Stakes.
Dick Turpin is also entered at 14/1 Sportingbet whilst Goldikova’s pacemaker Flash Dance is available at 50/1 at bet365.
Aidan O’Brien won the race in 2008 and will be represented by Cape Blanco (10/1 ), whilst Godolphin rely on Paddy Power‘s 20/1 chance Rio de La Plata who was third in the Diomed Stakes at Epsom last week.
Ransom Note will look to put a French flop behind him for Barry Hills at 33/1 with William Hill whilst Roger Charlton’s Cityscape make up the eight at 25/1 with Boylesports.
