There were four winners of last night’s totejacktpot at Newbury after Bouncy Bouncy’s victory in the last leg meant the bet was won to 2.5 winning units.
The total pool of £1,277,342.00 was the eleventh biggest in the history of the bet which lead to a dividend of £362,765.00 to a £1 stake. This comfortably beat the starting-price accumulator for the six winners which paid only 193,049/1.
The totejackpot had not been won since the first day of Royal Ascot, where there were 42.50 winning units which produced a dividend of £3,046.20.
The four winners had all invested heavily in the bet with two of them placing their perms through Betfair and the other two independently.
“Yet again another big totejackpot rollover captured the imagination of punters up and down the country and the four lucky winners will be celebrating a big payout after sharing the huge £1.2m rollover between them,” said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.
