Coral bookmakers have slashed the odds on Barcelona boss, Pep Guardiola becoming the next Chelsea manager to 10-1 (from 50-1) following a surge of support.
“With a red hot 1-5 favourite in the betting following the move for Hiddink yesterday, we hadn’t seen much at all in the Chelsea market today, but some speculative punts on Pep have seen his odds tumble dramatically,” Coral spokesman Gary Burton told betrescue.com
In other managerial news, Roberto Martinez has been well backed all day to be the next Aston Villa boss and is now the odds-on 4-5 favourite with Coral to move from Wigan.
