Live on Skysports 2: Thu 10.30: Luke Donald is 15/2 (Coral) to win the BMW PGA Championship and go top of the World Rankings.
It’s set to be an exciting encounter at Wentworth in what has become a straight head to head for the World top spot between Luke Donald and Lee Westwood.
Ian Poulter’s weekend win denied Donald number 1 and Poulter, who jumped to 14th himself, is 33/1 with Totesport to make it back to back wins.
Lee Westwood is 9/1 2nd fav and it’s simply whoever finishes highest between him and Donald, takes top position.
However, Martin Kaymer is out to spoil the party as if he wins, 16/1 with Paddy Power, he can snatch World Number 1 from both Englishmen, providing neither of them come 2nd to him.
Away from the permutations of the top three, Northern Irishmen Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell are 20/1 and 22/1 respectively with Sportingbet, last year’s winner Simon Khan is 150/1 (bet365) to defend his title and Paul Casey, the ’09 winner, is 33’s with Betfred.
Elsewhere, recent form players Alvaro Quiros and MA Jimenez are 35/1 and 40/1 with Skybet and the Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts could be worth watching at 66/1 with Paddy Power.
