Manchester United have been installed as the 6/4 favourites to win NEXT year’s Premier League, according to Ladbrokes.
The bookies have opened their market for next season’s title race. Chelsea are 7/4 whilst Manchester City at 5/1 are ahead of 7/1 hopefuls Arsenal in the betting.
Despite effectively losing their champions crown to Manchester United at Old Trafford, Carlo Ancelotti is still odds-on at 8/11 to be in charge of Chelsea next season.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “United have all but secured the title without ever really hitting top gear. For that reason we think they’re worthy favourites to defend it next year.
“Ancelotti’s future remains unclear but we’re not writing him off yet. The odds suggest he’s likely to start the season in the Stamford Bridge dugout.”
